How Facebook Graph Search Affects Your Privacy [INFOGRAPHIC]

Facebook Graph Search will be rolling out soon. Are you ready?

You might have heard of Facebook’s new Graph Search but are not sure what it means to your privacy. Graph search is a search algorithm first introduced by Facebook in March 2013. Results of this search engine are based on your network of friends- meaning that your status updates, photos, and other information will be searchable by the public through your relationships rather than keywords. At present, this feature is available to a limited number of beta users but will be available to more users soon.

Facebook graph search is useful and powerful, but it can also be a little scary if you don’t know how to change your privacy settings. This infographic created by Marketo, walks you through the steps needed to ensure that you are sharing only the information you intend to share.
